Carlton L. Gill, Jr., executive vice president with Towne Insurance, has been named the prestigious Agent of the Year by Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia (IIAV). This award distinguishes him among Virginia’s 4,000 licensed agents in over 460 independent insurance agencies. Carlton was recognized for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the insurance industry.
“Carlton has contributed his talents, and has always made himself available, to IIAV in terms of teaching, consulting, and serving in whatever capacity is needed. As a highly rated instructor of continuing education courses for more than 20 years, Carlton tops the shortlist of gurus and is my ‘go to’ expert on the complicated nature of workers’ compensation issues,” commented Robert Bradshaw, President and CEO of IIAV. “He exemplifies what is the best in independent insurance agents, and we’re honored to recognize him as our 2015 Agent of the Year.”
