Rogerson Joins Towne Insurance to Lead Development of Select Business Unit

Towne Insurance, ranked by revenue as one of the nation’s largest independent insurance agencies, announces that Christopher Rogerson joined Towne Insurance as vice president, manager of Select Business Unit. He will be responsible for further development of Towne’s Select Business Unit strategy, as well as integrating that business model in offices located across Virginia and North Carolina.  


Rogerson has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently employed with Hanover Insurance Group, where he held commercial underwriting and personal lines leadership positions. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and completed his AIC (Associate in Claims) Designation. Over the course of his career, Rogerson has worked in both personal and commercial lines, led sales teams and service teams, and has had direct experience working with carrier and agency service centers.

A resident of Glen Allen for nearly two decades, Rogerson will be based out of the Richmond office. In his personal time, he enjoys playing golf, coaching for the Strikers Soccer Club, and vacationing at Lake Erie with his family.
