Yergey has been an independent insurance agent for more than 23 years and is President of Yergey Insurance, a Towne Insurance Agency located in Northern Virginia. He has been active on the local, state, regional and national levels of the association and previously held executive level positions including President and Chairman of IIAV. He continues to be an advocate in the insurance industry by lobbying on a state and federal level for important issues such as professional liability and tort reform.
Yergey is a graduate of West Virginia University and remains active in the community by volunteering for local organizations. He is a recipient of the ‘Agent of the Year’ award, the highest honor bestowed by the IIAV.
