Jim Clement

Jim Clement is the North Carolina President of Towne Insurance Agency.  He began his insurance career in 1987 in his hometown of Greenville, North Carolina. He sold his very successful agency to Towne Insurance in late 2012. 
 
Jim graduated from The University of North Carolina with a degree in Business Administration in 1982.  He completed the Insurance executive Program at Appalachian State University in 1998.  He received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2007.  

Jim is married to Louise Clement and they have two children: A daughter, Louise Mann Dull is married and lives in Charlotte and a son Edwin.  He is an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he has served three terms on the Vestry. He most recently served as Senior Warden in 2015 and chaired the most recent New Rector Search Committee in 2019

 He has been active in many civic affairs including serving on the boards of the Boy Scouts, The Boys & Girls Club and East Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Center.
