TowneBank Loan Options

Personal Loan Assistance for Our Members

TowneBank is actively working to assist both our personal and business members who may be experiencing an urgent financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. We may be able to offer additional accommodations, so we encourage our members to call their local office. We will continue to update this resource page as additional information becomes available.

Business Loan Assistance for Our Members

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or the CARES Act, was signed into law on March 27, 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This bill contains many provisions to address financial hardships individuals and businesses are facing during this difficult time.

Two government loan options are available that may be of interest to our business members:

Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)

A low-interest loan program available directly from the Small Business Administration (SBA).

  • To learn more or apply, please visit the SBA disaster loan website.
  • This program is available now only through the SBA for members who want to take advantage of it.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

Designed to assist businesses with fewer than 500 employees.

  • Applications for this loan program will be available starting April 3 through TowneBank and other financial institutions.
  • Implementation and application processes are still being finalized by the federal government, but once final details are released, we are prepared to help our business members apply for these loans.

Bankers at TowneBank have information on these program options and can also walk you through the full suite of lending options typically available to business members. If you need more information, please contact your local banker.
